I loved the spacious Family Room with an incredible view of Kirkjufell! The heated towel rack in the bathroom was a game changer, perfect for drying our winter gear after a full day of exploring. Plus, having a common area with a fantastic view made our stay even more enjoyable!

I had a lovely stay at Helgrindur Guesthouse, enjoying the stunning view of Kirkjufell from the shared balcony. The self-check-in was effortless, and my spacious room had a well-equipped kitchenette, making my visit particularly comfortable.

The mountain view is stunning, especially while enjoying a morning coffee on the common balcony. The spacious bathroom features a heated towel rack, a nice touch for drying damp gear after a day of adventures.

The lack of elevators makes maneuvering heavy luggage a challenge, especially with stair access to the rooms. Motion-sensor bathroom lights are slightly inconvenient. they turn off while you're still in the shower, making it a dance to keep the light going.

The location is perfect, just 3 km from top attractions, making it a great base for exploring. The spacious apartment features a large bathroom and a lovely view from the common balcony. A slight downside was the limited kitchen equipment, but fresh cheese bread in the morning made up for that. The quiet atmosphere is refreshing, although being on the main street could be a factor for light sleepers.

We really had a good time chilling on the terrace with a book and soaking in the stunning views of Kirkjufell. The check-in was super easy, they left our key right in the door! Just take note, the stairs to the room can be a bit much after a long day. But grocery stores and places to eat are just a short walk away.

A notable downside was the lack of elevators, making the stairs a hassle with heavy luggage, and the shower could have been larger given the bathroom's size. Just a great match for a short interlude in Grundarfjordur with fantastic value. The shared balcony offered a lovely view of Kirkjufell that we really enjoyed. Keep in mind that the entrance is a bit odd at first, but you'll get used to it!
